FASTING TO GET RESULTS
Are you ready to change your mind? Renewing your mind is an everyday process its not an event or a one time thing! If you stop renewing your mind you back to your old way of thinking. Fasting is mainly a time of renewing your mind. Allow the word of God to challenge everything you understood.
You must be consistent in renewing your mind and improving our game. You must always be in the process. Learning is not renewing your mind is part of it; it’s setting your mind to do. What are you doing when you’re on a fast/ your body is use to eating 3x’s a day. What are you doing? You need to give, fast and pray. Give your lunch away; some will actually hurt themselves before going on a fast. Why wait till you get a bad news from the doctor to start eating well and getting rid of eating those pies.
Let me use these examples.
Cruise control on a car is mark on 50 miles, you can mash the car to make it go up 50 miles, or mash the brakes to get it off 50. You can renew your mind by mashing the brakes. Certain negative things are on cruise control and need you to press the brakes to get off.
2nd Example:
Auto Pilot: once it’s setup on the computers and buttons that is program to go to your destination. You can say no I don’t want to go that way. You got to keep holding on to it.
You got to stop this course; the way way I change is by doing this: You have to do it everyday, all year to break that yolk and bondage. You got to change the course, for instance, yes I love watching movies, yes I love steak, and I love watching TV for 5 hours. Now you can say, I am changing the course! These things are stopping you from growing in the things of God or affecting you to grow in God. After a few weeks when staying in course, when you fast you will see God’s works coming to past. Fasting is about a time in receiving knowledge of God. Therefore no movies for 10 hours, feed yourself the knowledge of God. I mean that’s if you want to see change! God is looking at your heart.
Friend repent. Jesus said “the kingdom of the Lord is at hand” repent basically change your mind and not just saying “I’m sorry. Repentence has to be authentic. Taking cookies and saying I’m sorry and thinking the same, but say I wll not steal the cookies, I will buy them instead. God just want you to see that its wrong, if you don’t then you will not see it wrong then you won’t judge it wrong. The old mindset has to go!
